Veda Kagabo, a talented artist, was born in the breathtaking region of Nyamasheke, Rwanda, nestled by the shores of Lake Kivu. The natural beauty of this area, with its exceptional flora and fauna, majestic volcanoes, and the presence of magnificent mountain gorillas, has deeply influenced Veda’s artistic expression. Through his art, he captures the essence of the stunning landscapes, vibrant sunsets, and the rich cultural heritage of Rwanda.
Twenty years ago, Veda Kagabo embarked on a new chapter in his life, moving to the United States and settling in Newark, New Jersey. His exceptional life journey has taught him the value of gratitude, having lived in multiple countries across different continents. These diverse influences have enriched his artistic perspective, allowing him to create work that transcends time and space.
The Covid-19 lockdown served as a catalyst for Veda’s artistic journey. During this time, he discovered a newfound passion for acrylic painting on canvas. Through self-teaching and exploration, Veda honed his skills and developed a unique artistic style. Now, he is eager to share his excitement and creativity with the world.
